Change of Pace is founded upon the truth that the Bible is the inerrant Word of God and desires to introduce women to a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ. Participants, coming from many different churches and of all ages and stages of life, enjoy a great time studying God's Word together. Many friendships are formed and cultivated within the group.
New Bible studies are offered two to three times a year, in September, January and sometimes March . Materials from well-known, qualified Bible teachers are used and small discussion groups are lead by dedicated leaders.
The morning schedule includes refreshments at 9 AM, corporate worship in music at 9:15 AM, followed by small groups discussing the past week's study assignments and including a DVD lesson for everyone. Please click on "Current Studies" for more descriptive information.
Child care is provided for infants through preschool age. A nursery cares for newborns through 2 years of age. The preschoolers (ages 2 - 6) enjoy Bible lessons, crafts and music taught by capable staff. Click on the "Childcare" link for more information.
Women of all ages and all faiths are welcome! Whether you are a beginner in matters of faith or a seasoned Christian, you will feel comfortable and you will learn lots! We welcome you.

Change of Pace began under the direction of Friendship Foundation which is based in Lancaster, PA . Many women were traveling long distances from southern Lancaster County to attend a good BIble Study . In 2000, a daughter group was then started in the southern end of the county. We currently meet at New Providence Church of God, and have attracted participants from southeast Lancaster County and Chester County, PA, as well as Cecil County, MD. Friendship Foundation also oversees two sister groups located in Lancaster, PA and Elizabethtown, PA. http://www.friendshipfoundation.org/cop.php
